Being a truly local company is our promise to you, and we are very proud to feature local products on our shelves. Because Dauphin Co-op is locally owned and operated it is important to us to support local producers and provide quality local products to our customers. Fresh fruits and vegetables, quality meats and innovative food products from right here in Manitoba.

What started out as a pumpkin patch for the kids has grown into a thriving business for Jaelyn and Lukas Frykas of Gilbert Plains, MB. J & L Pumpkin Patch harvests specialty pumpkins and gourds to provide Dauphin Co-op customers with hand-picked fresh produce. These young entrepreneurs, Jaelyn in Grade 9 and Lukas in Grade 11, have not only increased their skills and knowledge of "best practices" when growing and harvesting their produce - they have developed strong business skills all on their own.

We are very proud to support this local producer and others by providing our customers with the best foods produced locally.
