Dauphin Co-op Donates Hey Clay Locally

Thanks to the generous donations of extra Hey Clay from our Members and shoppers, we had thousands of Hey Clay packets to distribute to the following organizations: Dauphin Hospital, Dauphin & District Food Bank, Whitmore School, Duck Bay School, Skownan School, Camperville School, Peter Pan Daycare, Waterhen Daycare, Michif Children's Place Daycare, Ste Rose Art Hive, and Ochre River Library.

Dauphin Co-op spread joy to local schools, daycares and agencies with the delivery of 68 boxes of Hey Clay. Each box contained 500 pieces of the popular molding clay. 

Hey Clay was first introduced in Co-ops across Western Canada in September, 2020. It was a big hit with folks of all ages. When we had the opportunity to get a bunch of boxes at special pricing from Federated Co-operatives, Melinda Harris, our Grocery Manager, knew we would be able to make good use of it. 

Donations were also made to the Local Food Bank, Parkland Crisis Centre, PRVSI, Under One Roof, Jordan's Principle, North-West Metis Federation, Ebb and Flow Community Centre, Dauphin Recreation Summer Kids Kamp, and Child and Family Services.
