Dauphin Co-op Donates $2,800 in Paint for the Future
Co-op’s Communities in Full Colour program (CIFC) provides paint for projects that improve the well-being of our communities. We are giving back by preserving, enhancing and beautifying our community. We are excited to announce our commitment to supporting the Dauphin Neighbourhood Renewal Corporation (DNRC) with 40 gallons of interior premium paint worth $2,800 to beautify their Transitional Housing Project.
The Dauphin Neighbourhood Renewal Corporation is dedicated to strengthening our community through collaboration and leadership. As part of this commitment, the organization is in the process of renovating a home to provide transitional housing for women escaping domestic violence or other related traumas. The home will offer a safe, supportive environment where residents can focus on healing and recovery.
“DNRC gratefully acknowledges Dauphin Co-op for their generous donation of interior paint for our Transitional Housing Project. This contribution has helped reduce renovation costs and allowed us to invest more resources into the safe, stable, and welcoming space where women and gender diverse residents can rebuild their lives with dignity and hope. Partnerships like this demonstrate the power of community collaboration in addressing homelessness and supporting recovery.” Said Tammy Chief, Executive Director, Dauphin Neighbourhood Renewal Corporation.
"Strong communities are built by supporting one another. We believe the spaces individuals live in can inspire confidence and healing. It is a privilege to assist DNRC to create safe, appealing living spaces that reflect the hope and new beginnings every resident deserves. We are proud to play a small part in helping people move forward with confidence and dignity." said Stephen Bunka, Dauphin Co-op Building Division Manager.

The Dauphin Neighbourhood Renewal Corporation (DNRC) is a community-based organization dedicated to improving the well-being of residents through partnerships, housing initiatives, and programs that foster healthy, inclusive, and resilient communities. As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting the communities we serve, we are thrilled to announce a $2,500 sponsorship to support the Dauphin Neighbourhood Renewal Corporation (DNRC) Little Neighbours Play Space Project.
As a locally owned co-operative, we believe in investing where our members live, work, and play. Supporting projects that strengthen our community and create opportunities for children and families is one of the many ways we strive to enrich the life of our communities.
“The Little Neighbours Play Space Project is creating a safe, accessible, inclusive, and sustainable indoor play environment for children and families throughout Dauphin and the surrounding region. By relocating and expanding the indoor playground within the DNRC Community Centre, the project will increase opportunities for active play, social connection, and year-round family engagement. Dauphin Co-op's generous $2,500 contribution is helping bring this vision to life and demonstrates the power of local partnerships in creating lasting benefits for children, families, and the broader community.” Said Tammy Chief, Executive Director, Dauphin Neighbourhood Renewal Corporation.
"We are proud to support a space where children can play, imagine and grow. Investing in our community's youngest members is an investment in a brighter future. Enriching the life of our communities is our vision and it is an honour to play a part in creating a space where families can connect, play, and make new memories." said Lorne Eiffert, Dauphin Co-op General Manager.
