Dauphin Co-op has a long and proud history of giving back to the communities where we live, work, and play for generations of Co-op Members.

The Dauphin Co-op Community Development Fund supports capital projects that create meaningful, lasting improvements within the communities that we serve. We are committed to investing in projects that address genuine needs, strengthen local connections, improve quality of life, and leave a lasting legacy for future generations. 

Priority will be given to projects that demonstrate strong community support, long-term sustainability, measurable impact, and meaningful benefits for communities within our trading area.

Funding between $10,000 and $30,000 is available for a charitable non-profit organization with a project that aligns with our values, mission and vision. The application period is open until August 31, 2026.

Sponsorship Guidelines:

• One Community Development Fund grant will be presented annually
• Applicant must be a charitable non-profit organization
• Applications for projects within Dauphin Co-op’s trading area will be considered
• Organizations or their committee members must have an active Dauphin Co-op membership
• On-site signage recognizing Dauphin Co-op’s contribution is required so attendees, participants and our Co-op Members are aware of the contribution
• Projects must have a multi-year impact on the community
• A picture will be required with the recipients

The following programs/groups are ineligible to apply:

• Individuals, including socials
• Federal, provincial or municipal government agencies and school boards
• Profit based organizations
• Projects or programs outside of Dauphin Co-op trading area
• Groups that could have an adverse social or environmental impact
• Third-party fundraising campaigns

Submit an application through the online form August 1—August 31, 2026.  Applicants meeting the criteria will be considered and the recipient will be chosen at the discretion of Dauphin Co-op.
