Dauphin Consumers Co-operative Ltd. is inviting applications for a Baker in our Bakery at the Food Centre.

Responsibilities for this position include the following:
• Providing excellent customer service and sales assistance
• Scale, mix, bake, finish, and decorate in accordance with approved company procedures and standards following standardized formulations
• Order and receive all ingredients and supplies according to production requirements
• Ensure that the Co-op’s equipment is being operated and maintained in a safe and responsible manner.
• Other duties as assigned

The successful candidate will demonstrate:
• Ability to lead a multi-generation team environment
• Mature, reliable, and self-motivated
• Outstanding teamwork skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Punctual, and able to work flexible hours including early morning shifts and weekends
• 2-3 years of previous experience as a Baker, scratch baking considered an asset
