Seasonal NH3 Yard Clerk

Dauphin Consumers Co-operative Ltd. is inviting applications for a Yard Clerk, (Seasonal) at our Anhydrous Ammonia Site

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to:

· Provide excellent customer service to and sales assistance

· Loading and delivering product in a safe and orderly manner

· Maintaining the yard in an orderly and organized manner, in compliance with yard plan

· Operating and maintaining all equipment and tools in a safe manner

· Administration duties, including creating and maintaining spreadsheets, filing, answering phones, front-end service and other duties assigned

· Assisting in all other retail operations as assigned

Qualifications:

· Provide excellent customer service skills and project a positive image

· Mature, reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented

· Posses a Class 5 Driver’s Licence

· Ammonia handling experience an asset

· Knowledge in using computers, including MS-DOS, Word, Outlook, and Excel

· Must be able to work weekdays, evenings, weekends and ability to work extended hours during peak season as required

· Ability to understand and comply with safety codes and protocols

· Can fulfill physical job requirements including extended time on one’s feet and manual labour
